Ahead of this year’s Population and Housing Census, the National Population Commission (NPC) has announced the postponement of LGA level training for functionaries scheduled to commence on Thursday April 13, 2023 across the country.
This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the commission’s Director of Census, Arin Olanipekun, on behalf of the Director-General.
According to the statement, all arrangements for the training should be put on hold till further notice.
Olanipekun directed the state’s offices of the Commission to withdraw earlier invitations sent to functionaries and wait for further directives.
The census is scheduled to hold from Wednesday 03 to Sunday 07, May, 2023.
