Victorous Governor Sule Receives Duplicate Of Election Result Sheet

Governor Abduahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Monday received duplicate of the March 18 gubernatorial election result sheet where he emerged victorious.

His agent and state Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Aliyu Bello presented the duplicate of the result sheet during a ceremony held at the Government House, Lafia.

The event was witnessed by a former governor and party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu and the Chairman of his Campaign Council, Senator Abubakar Sodangi among others.

In the election, Audu Alhaji Sule of the governing APC polled 347,209 votes to be declared as winner by the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) while his closest rival, David Ombugadu of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) polled 283,016 votes.
