Governor Sule Appoints Andrew As New Head Of Special School *** Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State has approved the appointment of Yakubu Andrew as the new Head of the Comprehensive Special School, Lafia. Andrew, a native of Akwanga Local Government, is an alumnus of the prestigious University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He holds master’s degree and currently running a doctoral degree from same University. He worked as an audiologist and speech pathologist with the Department of Ear, Nose and Throat, Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia, the University of Jos as an audiologist handling practicals on special needs education and rehabilitation sciences from 2008-2012. Andrew was one-time Head of Clinical Services at the Panraf Hospital Abuja before he founded his clinic in FCT. Until his appointment, he was a lecturer with the department of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation Science at the Federal University of Lafia. Andrew has authored nine national and international publications on disability matters. He attended conferences from within and outside the country.
